Murphy Aircraft Mfg. Ltd. ... Our Story.

Founded in 1985, Murphy Aircraft has seen steady growth in aircraft designs, sales, personnel, equipment, capabilities, and objectives. Murphy’s 50,000 square foot facility, computer driven machinery, and expanding engineering staff are ready to tackle a wide range of prototyping and manufacturing activities. Murphy Aircraft is one of few manufacturers using computer-controlled punching machines for accurate hole alignment and precision manufacturing of large parts. The company also conducts rigorous destructive and non-destructive testing of all major components to ensure they meet or surpass certifiable standards. To ensure the utmost in quality control, all major manufacturing is done in Murphy Aircraft’s own production facility by fully-trained staff. As well, Murphy is fully equipped with several hundred thousand dollars worth of high volume presses and other equipment to meet the demand for its aircraft.

Kits are shipped directly from the factory, which is located close to the major port of Vancouver, and within easy access of major road and rail links to all of North America. This makes it possible to ship kits quickly across the continent or around the world by crate or container. Kits can also be shipped by air freight throughout the world, if necessary to meet your scheduled requirements. At Murphy Aircraft, customer service does not end when the sale is made; it is only beginning. Customer support during any phase of the construction process is as close as the nearest telephone, fax machine or by e-mail.

As well, past, present and future Murphy Aircraft owners are always welcome to tour the Chilliwack, British Columbia factory and meet the dedicated staff. Throughout the years, hundreds of customers have visited our plant, and we hope to welcome many more in the future. If visits are pre-arranged, they can often include a breathtaking flight over the scenic Fraser Valley!

Innovation, commitment to the highest standards for development, as well as delivery, along with old-fashioned hard work, have led to financial stability and credibility. Challenges are exciting to the folks at Murphy, but everyone in the factory sees the greatest challenge as sustaining customer satisfaction with aircraft kits or other manufacturing activities
