The new Experimental version of the JDM-8 with its
clipped wings, full canopy and the HKS 700-E 4-stroke engine. Weighing in
at just over 480 pounds, the JDM-8 has been beefed up to handle the 60
horsepower of the HKS engine and streamlined for speed with its full,
side-ways opening canopy and spring landing gear. The heavier wing design,
all metal covered,
still easily folds up for storage or towing,
but is more than capable of handling the higher cruise speeds that the
JDM-8 will see.
