As
an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), Murphy Aircraft has an
agreement with Textron Lycoming to sell new Lycoming aircraft engines
for installation in Murphy Aircraft Kits. As a result, owners of
the Murphy Rebel, Rebel Elite, or SR3500 Moose may purchase factory new Lycoming engines, for
installation in those kits.
All of Murphy's full-sized* metal
aircraft have been designed with the Lycoming engine in mind.
It's unsurpassed level of performance and reliability as proven by
millions of hours of service in certified and experimental aircraft
around the world make it the ideal engine for these type of aircraft.
(* The single exception is the Rebel-UL "Ultralight")
