The Aircraft
The Radical is a very roomy two seat bush plane. Even the largest pilots will find they have plenty of head, leg, and shoulder room. No need to be a contortionist to enter the Radical. The two large up swinging doors make it easy for even the less mobile to enter.
Design Philosophy
It has been designed and built to be a true rugged STOL bush aircraft incorporating the best ideas and design practices of all the Murphy aircraft.

Usefulness
While tandem-seat aircraft based on the original Piper Cub offer strong performance, they have several drawbacks. Many have reasonable useful load capabilities but, when flying two-up, the space available for load carrying is very limited. The Radical solves this issue with side-by-side seating, leaving a spacious cargo area behind the seats.
The cargo area is large enough for two people to sleep comfortably on the double floor. No longer will your flying partner have to sit in the trunk. With the side-by-side seating they will be able to sit up front where the action is with full access to controls and instruments.
Construction
Like all Murphy High wing designs, aluminum was again chosen for the Radical. The advantages of aluminum construction are numerous and undeniable.
